Sunny’s MOOC

As part of my work in the MFA in Theatre Education program at Mississippi University for Women, I am creating a series of introductory acting units for secondary students based on foundational training methods.  These lessons will include alignment to state and national standards, student learning objectives, essential questions, and other common requirements for lesson plans.  The purpose of these lessons is primarily to support theatre educators’ efforts in helping educational leaders envision and understand these learning processes.

This work in curriculum development is deeply meaningful to me.  It is allowing me to return to the roots of my training and pass on acting training methods of the masters.
